My Choice of Trailers

My first choice is a 'TEASER' trailer. I have chosen this particular type of trailer because I would like to include as many clips as possible, therefore within this form of trailer I will be able to edit the many clips within a short amount of time due to the quick editing pace normally found in this type of trailer.

 My second choice is a 'TV SPOT'. This is because a TV spot has very similar conventions in comparison to a teaser trailer, therefore because of the aims I have for my own trailers I again want to achieve the same goals I mentioned above. Which is why I will be making two of the similar type trailers.

Insidious 2 Poster Analysis

--> The main image of the poster is of 3 of the main protagonists. --> The protagonists are seen through the use of a medium shot, to make the audience feel closer with the characters. --> Dull/dark use of colours. --> Low level lighting. --> Some use of red to perhaps represent blood or violence within the film. --> Dark background to allow focus on the image and the writing on the poster. --> Name of the film (san serif, biggest wiring, most bold, indication of genre) located on the side of the poster. --> Credits in small writing located at the very top. --> Release date. --> Website name. --> Tagline - gives away some of the storyline.
