The Nun Poster Analysis

--> The main image is of the antagonist, giving the audience an insight into what the film entails. The character is looking directly at the camera, making the audience feel uncomfortable.

 --> The antagonist can be seen through the use of a close up, to enable the audience to see the detail within the character's face, as this may link with something to do within the narrative of the film.

 --> Dull/dark colours used.

 --> A use of red, to represent blood or fear.

 --> Black background to help the image, and writing on the poster stand out.

 --> Title of the film (serif, biggest writing, indication of genre) located at the bottom.

 --> Release date.

 --> Tagline - indication of genre, and gives away some of the storyline.
